Easy Service

The service at Hogan and Sons has always been top quality and this was no exception. They are efficient servicing my vehicle, and very comprehensive. They often make recommendations and explain what their tests show, but they are never too pushy trying to get you to perform extra work. They make it very easy and affordable to get my car serviced.

Oil change and seat cleaning

I've been using this shop for over 11 years and had pretty good luck. Mon my last visit this week I had a very different experience. The manager informed me that if I provide my own oil and filter there is an additional $10 fee. Seems odd but he states this is a new policy. I went ahead with the service and she I came back to get my car I noticed the leather driver seat looked darker than normal. When I got home and saw it in the garage light I was shocked to see my seat was covered in grease! I called to talk to Rob the manager but he was gone for the day. I'm left a message for him and he never called me back. I spent 20 minutes cleaning the grease off my seat and needless to say I'm not happy.

Check Engine and Maint. Lights

I am glad they were able to take my car without an appointment on a Saturday morning, especially since I had two warning lights come on. I had needed some other routine work done as well (e.g., oil change and alignment). They identified the problem causing my warning lights to come on and recommended that I replace a part that was leaking and provided a cost estimate. The fix seemed to work for 24 hours but then the warning lights came back on the next day. Monday morning I took my car back to them on my way to work and when I called to check on my car later in the morning I was told that the worker hadn't cleaned all of the leaking fluid that was causing the sensors to trip so they had him go back and blow dry or clean out all leaking fluids and replace the new part for no charge. When I picked up my car before they closed, it ran fine and it continued to run fine this morning and tonight. Thanks!

The worst service!!

I brought my car in on a Saturday for emissions and safety inspections and was told to come back on Monday (Labor Day). So, I came before 7:00am on a Holiday and was the second person in line for inspections. I came back at 9:00 to pick my car up. It was parked outside of the garage so I assumed the inspections had been done and no one told me otherwise. Instead, I was told that they were just waiting on my paperwork. I waited for over an hour and then asked if my paperwork was done. At that point, I was told the emissions test wasn't even done because of some computer glitch. It would have been nice to have been told that earlier! And when I got upset, Timmy made excuses and said that I could get upset but hat wasn't going to get me anywhere. I will never go there again!

Excellent Service!

I dropped my 2010 Expedition at the location for brake inspection/service. The check-in was quick, but thorough, and courteous. A tech called me the next day outlining the problem (parking brake cable disconnect). The tech also discussed the free inspection, but was also honest that many of the issues could be handled at the next service. I expected a higher bill but they were able to fix the problem at standard, for a low cost. I feel this location is professional, honest and will return for further services when needed. Go to this location for your preventative care and tire needs!

This location is always accommodating, and their service has kept me coming back for all repair and maintenance issues. They're usually very busy with customers, so your best bet is to give them the courtesy of a call to make an appointment.
