Wonderful Service

I'm a long time customer. I've never had a bad experience at Hogans. Mind you, I've had some surprise assessments for maintenance - but they've all resulted in better performance. My recent experience entailed a clogged cat converter ( i thought i just needed to clean the injectors) but they took the time to figure out the root cause and went from there. unfortunately I also needed a new flow sensor but the car (2005 STS) has 110K miles on it was running horribly and is now running like new. I'm really satisfied I can put off buying a new car a few more years.

Car inspection

It was quick and easy, no bs from these guys. Elton was really friendly and I appreciated him letting me know what things to keep an eye on. Definitely a place I will go to again.

Fast, Friendly & Reliable

My 2005 Acura RSX alternator died on me. I had my car towed once the store opened at 7am. I was greeted with a friendly smile. Listen to my issue and I was advised my car would be check for the alternator and for any other issues that would stop it from running in the near future. By 1 pm I received a call stating my car will be ready at 3 pm. Got to the store at 3 pm and it was ready. Mechanic came out greeted me and advised of the work I will need, took my payment and gave me my keys to the car. Everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. When I got in my car I could feel the difference and the power my car had with a new alternator. I would recommend to take your car to Hogan & Sons if you want your car to be treated right. I was very pleased with the professional services provided during my visit to Hogan & Sons. They explained the initial findings and followed up with both a verbal and visible inspection of the total repair job. Really impressed with the quality and timely work. Strongly recommend using this shop!

2008 Ford Escape transmission

You charged me $269 for (2) diagnostic test, I don't think your mechanic had to turn one nut! Your explanations were not clear, other than you recommended you install a new transmission at $4,550. I was referred to by my hometown mechanic to take the car to Eldon's Service Center for another opinion. Eldon's did a diagnostic test, gave me a more detailed explanation of what the problem was, AND they didn't charge me for the diagnostic test. I must admit your counter guy we talked to Tuesday night was very friendly, and told us to stay in the store, after hours, until our daughter got there to pick us up from Alexandria, VA. The counter guy was courteous! I'm not sure why (2) diagnostic test were needed, that seems to be a mystery, and I don't know how you sleep at night for charging those prices for doing little of nothing. When I tell other people of our experience, their response is "WOW you have to be kidding"! Overall TERRIBLE experience with Goodyear! Randy Stakeman
