Winter Special

The winterizing went well (took 2 hours which I thought was a bit much) but at checkout I was told I needed tires. He tried to pressure me by telling me the tires were bald and wouldn't last a week and that I was putting my life in my hands just leaving the store. I went to two other tire dealers and they assured me I had at least 1000 miles left. Did not like the condescending attitude and I will be buying my tires elsewhere. Thanks.

I live in Chicago now, but I trust this location so much I actually wait until I'm in STL to get anything done. I trust them to tell me the things I actually need, and not upsell me on the things I don't. I've trusted them since 2000.

John did a wonderful job handling my service needs. Pat? I believe completed my oil change in about 25 minutes and checked all my other fluids. Great job on everyone's part.

A little disappointed

I replaced both tires on our Boy Scout trailer last year. It is driven perhaps 50 miles a year. Today I found 1 tire flat and took it in to replace a valve stem that had rotted and was losing air. The staff replaced it promptly and free of charge but said they do not always replace valve stems when replacing tires. That means that on a $100 tire I had to make a second trip to swap the flat and take it to be repaired less than a year later because of a 50 cent valve stem, which is nothing compared to the risk of a flat while hauling the trailer on a busy highway or 2 lane road with no shoulder. Now I am concerned about the other new tire and guess I need to check that. If it is not your policy to replace the stems with every new tire I think it should be. It seems like cheap insurance against a possible headache
