I've lived in Glen Carbon for 20 years and Dobbs has been my exclusive tire and auto facility since they opened. The manager Terry and staff are my go to people always willing to help and are a prompt and comprehensive service facility. I would not consider going anywhere else and my 2 sons now go there as well. Terry is always available for questions I have and has become a trusted friend through the years. If there is a mistake they will make it right. I'm just glad Dobbs has a store near me. I suggest Dobbs to every friend and neighbor. I'm a dedicated Dobbs customer. I was disappointed that I had to remind the counter of the sale ad for the service I had performed so the invoice could be changed. The ad was both in the newspaper and on tv.Other than that I was pleased with the service

I'm glad I got a 2nd opinion.

Took my car in for routine oil change and fluid checks. I get a call saying that all 4 struts, the battery, alignment, and suspension needed replaced/serviced--almost $1,000 in repairs, even with labor being "waived" for my trouble. I definitely could not afford this! I haven't had any issues with the performance of my vehicle that gave indication these things were going bad, and I only bought the car ~6 months ago. No way that much could be wrong with it without warning or cause for concern. Immediately I was told about the credit card and financing options available, and that this stuff needed to be done ASAP. I took it to a couple other places to get this confirmed, and both places said nothing was wrong. I feel as if this was nothing more than a scam to get credit card/Financing applications, and as a long time customer I am strongly displeased by this lack of respect. 10/10 will not bring my car here again for service.

flat tire

I called at 530 asking to bring in my car because of a soon to be flat tire. I expected the car would have to be left overnight and fixed sometime the next day. Chris said they would get it done tonight even if they had to stay late. The tire was repaired before closing time. Excellent customer service.
