I went to Matthews to check about an alignment. The news turned out to be not so good. I needed new struts besides the alignment. The staff was very helpful in explaining everything, but did not try to push the repairs, saying that it was a big expense and that I should weigh the options before making a decision. I decided to go ahead with it, and even though they ran into lots of problems associated with working on an 11 year old car (rusted bolts, etc.), they were able to come in under the estimate. They were also very polite and patient with another customer that was asking an inordinate amount of questions while I was there. Kudos to Dave Flunker and the rest of the staff. I would definitely recommend Matthews tire to anyone.
We've been coming to Matthews for 25 years and we love them. They know our names. They know our vehicles and we can always count on them to be there when we need help. I would never go any where else.
I am concerned about the expensive tires I have to buy for my car. I had to replace an almost new tire. It was not covered because it had a whole in the sidewall. O asked the mechanic how this could happen. He just shook his head. This is the 2nd tire to go in 2 years. My sister had 2 go too. Why are these expensive tires so bad? My sister and I are 66 and 68. Not exaxtly rough drivers. I am not hap I with these tires.
I love Matthew's tire and trust them with taking care of my vehicle. Thanks for again doing a great job!
From the friendly greetings, to the obvious good relationships of the staff with each other, the clear communication, the smiles, and hey, the good work on my vehicle, I'm always very pleased with my experience at Matthews Tire. The pleasant, clean, bright waiting area is a nice perk, as well (thanks for the Wi-Fi).
got a call back to explain the misunderstanding we had on both ends and offered something in return for it all. very well pleased
i did not get the service i wanted. i gave them a coupon for a service of oil, filter and to fill my fluids and to check brakes (dont remember the rest but i watched him staple my coupon to his copy) anyways my car only got serviced for an oil change. i was priced right but not all i wanted done
Matthew's truly exemplifies customer service. Twice in the last month I have had to stop in.. burned out headlight on a foggy, rainy gray day and a recently a screw in my tire. Both times they were more than willingly to help me out.. fix the issue and get me on my way in with a cheerful attitude. Fleet Farm - where I purchased the tires and road hazard package said they could get me in for the flat tire in 2 days.. really? Will be purchasing my tires going forward from Matthews.. Thanks Matthews!
I was pleased with the fact that the tire was repaired quicker than was estimated. When I got there to pick it up someone offered to put the tire in the back of my truck while I paid the bill. I wish I would have looked at the tire before I left as the tire has a specific rotation and it was put on the rim backwards from the way it was on when I brought it in. I noticed it right away when I went to remove the tire from my truck to put on my car. The outside of the tire was clean and the inside had brake dust / dirt on it. And now the outside of the tire was the dirty side. I called right away and asked that they put something in the system that I will be bringing the tire back in sometime in the next few weeks to be fixed. The person I spoke with said to just run it back in and it would be fixed right away. Not so easy as I live 90 miles from Appleton. I will now have to make a 3 hours trip back and forth. The tire is a Goodyear Eagle FS1 (run flat) and is on my Corvette.
