The inspector actually failed my car and when i questioned the issue it took him 10 mins to find the issue. Because i am not a mechanic i couldnt debate it just accepted it and had to pay 300 for breaks. To be fair there might have been an issue w the car. Please understand this has no bearing on hogan and sons they tried to make it right and fully understood my frustration. They are an awesome repair shop. Just ensure you ask for clarification if the car fails. I would recommend that with any state process.
The guys at hogan and sons have become family to us, customer service is stellar, and they are above par in fairness and service to our vehicles. They remember us by name every time we come in. I would never think of taking our vehicles anywhere else.
These guys took GREAT care of me... I just moved down from NY where you can find shady shops everywhere but I wouldn't hesistate to bring my car back to them. In fact, I probably wouldn't bring my car anywhere else down here. Friendly, honest, and prompt service! It was a pleasure!
I went in for a safety inspection and ended up paying over $1000. But the break of trust was discovering that instead of putting new tires on my car - I still had my old tires ! Manager Troy was very apologetic and I got my new tires. But, I keep thinking if I hadn't noticed that my tires said Michelin, I'd have paid a lot for a service that I didn't receive. Doesn't say much about quality control. I think that someone should have noticed that they forgot to put new tires on my car before I picked up my car. IF I return to Hogan and Sons I will probably insist that I watch them do whatever service I have done. I would have a difficult time recommending this business to my friends!
Everything appears to be working...as of now. Courteous, prompt service. Hope the fix lasts.
