Service was good. Misbilled us at first. Priced different than what was quoted, but corrected it immediately when brought to their attention. Very content with their service.
I have received bad service in the past. However we went back because I had won gift certificates to Dobbs. My husband needed tires so we used them. I priced his tires online but we were charged like $20 more per tire than the site suggested. When I brought this up to the service guy he said that is online pricing only that they would have to charge like another $20 per tire on top of that price for balancing and the stem. Why is it that the price you find online does not match what the store charges?
Got an oil change and tire rotation. In their multi-point inspection, they found that my battery needed to be changed and I had that done at more than a reasonable price. Quality work at a fair price. You can't ask for more than that.

I called a few days ahead of time to set up an appointment for an oil change and to buy 4 new tires, have them balanced, etc... The clerk took the information and said he'd have to order the tires from another store as he didn't have any in the Festus store. I arrived for the 730 AM appointment and at about 800 AM was told that they had gotten in a set of 4 tires, but they were not the right ones. Someone had to drive to Arnold to pick up the 4 tires I wanted. I waited. The work was done and I was checked out at 1030 AM. Someone should have checked the incoming tires to ensure they were the right ones. Ten minutes by a staff person could have saved me an hour - or maybe more.I've moved into the area from Fenton, where I had great service and good experiences. I am disappointed in my two experiences at this store.
TIRE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. FIXED ON TIME AS PROMISED FOR A REASONABLE CHARGE. DOBBS IS MY DESTINATION FOR AUTO SERVICE.
I like the service I get from Dobbs and the the fact that they can handle most repairs. I was disappointed this time because I was informed I would no longer be able to put in my 6th quart of oil. I seriously don't understand why you and others advertise your service with 5 qrts knowing we will be overcharged for the 6th qrt! I can buy 2 qrts for the price charged! We aren't stupid and understand you need to make a profit but playing games like this is really disappointing. Be a market leader and offer an all inclusive service and stop playing games, it's degrading to your customers and undermines your credibility. Just saying!!
Had my brakes checked and the rear brakes needed replaced. Job done in a timely manner and, as always, in a professional manner.
Poor communications between management and customer.....
Staff did a good job of identifying the problem in making the repair. When the repair was made it was discovered a part used was defective. Staff contacted me to let me know about the delay and did the repair a second time.
