I bought 4 brand new tires back in Sept & later realized that this Dobbs only put on 2 new tires & left on 2 of my old tires. When I brought this to their attention the reaction I got was as if this wasn't uncommon & the excuse I got was that "people make mistakes." This was more than just a mistake, I feel as if it was done intentionally. I came in the next day (Saturday) w/ my 2 young children & waited for just over 2 hours while they put the 2 new tires, changed my oil, & did an alignment. My service should have been expedited & I should have been in & out of there, but wasn't. Other than that nothing else was offered for this "big" mistake & for that I will not be returning to Dobbs. I've been going to this Dobbs for over a decade & know the manager really well. But this experience just really put a bad taste in my mouth & now has me questioning all of the past years & services I've received & whether they actually happened or not. Overall, a bad experience.
We've been taking our cars to Dobbs for many years. This visit was due to the a/c not working. While there, the svc manager said the tech noticed the front brakes needed work. This was something we knew about and Dobbs had made note of it at an earlier visit. I had both the a/c and brakes fixed in less than an hour. Always friendly people working, and the car is taken care of.
